Care for bodies that have been through a lot.
Grounded, evidence-informed acupuncture and integrative medicine for the whole person. We listen first, explain clearly, and treat without assumptions.
⎯ HOW WE PRACTICE
Medicine that listens, collaborates, and truly sees you
We combine East Asian medicine with evidence-based care to support the treatment you’re already receiving — never replace it. When helpful, we use targeted assessments and lab tests to guide your care. We believe good medicine listens deeply, explains clearly, and treats the whole person, without assumptions.
We believe that symptoms are not isolated problems — they are meaningful signals.

What to expect on your first visit.
⎯ FIRST VISIT
-
Your first appointment lasts 90 minutes. We begin by getting to know you and your overall health — not just the reason you came in, but your history, lifestyle, and goals. Then, we proceed with physical assessments and finish with a treatment, which may include acupuncture, myofascial work, or a discussion of herbal options, depending on what's most suitable for you. Lastly, we will walk you through your expectations and treatment plan.
-
Not at all. Many of our patients are coming in for the first time. We'll guide you through everything, explain what we're doing and why, and check in with you along the way.
-
Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the treatment is. Needles used in acupuncture are extremely thin — nothing like a hypodermic needle — and most people feel little to no discomfort. Some points produce a mild sensation of pressure or warmth, which typically passes quickly.
-
YES — and we encourage it. Our aim is to support and improve your current care, not replace it. When needed, we work directly with your other providers to ensure your treatment feels cohesive and safe.
-
We are out-of-network with all insurance providers. After each visit, we provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement. FSA and HSA funds are accepted. >Rates & Insurance
-
It varies depending on your condition and goals. Some patients notice meaningful improvement after just a few sessions; others with chronic or complex concerns may require a longer course of treatment. We will give you an honest overview of what to expect during your first visit and make adjustments as needed.
Nice to meet you
